We caught some nice 8" bluegills. We used wax worms with a slip bobber. We targeted submerged vegetation in the middle of lakes on humps.

I had a lot of success fishing a neko rig green senko in green pumpkin. Cast it out into the vegetation and let it fall. It was getting hit on the fall or on a reaction strike after ripping it through the grass.
