2024 Fatbelly Bassmasters tournament number 2. The bite was tough today. Had a cool down overnight, the water level was super high with recent rains and we had wicked wind blowing east southeast. We wanted to get out on some humps to fish smallmouth but the wind made that very tough. Took shelter out of the wind on the east side of islands and the west bay. I had the most luck on the ned thrown either around docks or crawled along the bottom near sparse weeds and rocks. Some guys found success using frogs for largemouth in the pads.
