Largemouth Bass
TechniqueMedium Diving Crankbaits (7'-12')SeasonSummerStructureBouldersMixed Up Bluegill Colored Crankbait and Chatterbait on boulders and rock in 1-10' of water to get 7 LMB with largest being 4.3lbs. I didn't see any bluegills in the area...but once I changed colors to Bluegill patterns on both baits started getting hammered. Probably due to dingy water color...was more visible to the bass. Water has cooled down 10 degrees in less then 2 weeks

Largemouth Bass
TechniqueBladed JigsSeasonFallStructurePointsKey on main lake points. Bass are moving to pockets and pushing shad up on rocks near these points. Don't just fish the points, fish the rock and boulders leading to points and don't be afraid to throw into "non-cover" areas (ie. open water) because bass are not always relating to cover. They are roaming. Use smaller bladed jigs and flat-sided/squarebill crankbaits (1.5) in these areas in shad color.
