The bass were in schools off the edge of the lily pads in submerged vegetation. I threw my chatter bait parallel to the lily pads. A cold front came in the day before and the bites were less than aggressive, but I got a few to chew!

Lake Ann holds lots of pike. Fall has always been a great time to target pike there. This past weekend, I used Z-Man Chatter baits with Rage Craw Trailers and Spinnerbaits to get excellent numbers of pike in my kayak. Burning these blade baits through and over vegetation triggered reaction strikes.
