This is tournament day!!!! Fishing for crappie which is one of my favorite fish to catch! My partner and I went back to our weed beds the morning was chilly 45 degrees which cooled the water to 62, the day before it was 65 we fished the weeds bed for four hours the bigger fish left the weed bed that morning but, the fish started to come to us later as the water warmed we caught half our limit of ten fish for weigh in after that we fished another weed bed where we picked up a few more decent sized fish one was 1.21lbs our biggest. We finished second with 8.48 the winners had 8.51lbs. The key was fishing Lake Fork Baby Shad’s under a bobber on 1/16th oz jig heads.
