Alright. Went out Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was high pressure. 1 bite and a few missed fish. There is a shad spawn going on if you can find it. This can be hit or miss as they can be super keyed in on shad and not hit your bait. Or they can be so wild they eat anything. Depends on the day/spot. Saturday had skittish fish on beds with mostly empty beds and an overall tough bite. Sunday the pressure dropped, water was rose overnight maybe an inch or two. Fished to water early morning and caught largemouth and smallmouth. Transitioned to flooded brush when the sun came up. A lot of fry guarders appeared where they weren’t the day before. Caught over 30 on flooded brush targeting fry guarders and a few prob still on beds at the base of the brush/trees. As the sun for higher and I caught a ton the bite slowed. After I didn’t get a bite for 30 minutes I left. The wind picked up and I fished main lake points and anything that looked good. A few follows on the magdraft but no takers. Moved to the arms and started throwing a Roman Made Negotiator. Started catching spots, largies and smallmouth. Biggest fish if the day prob went around 3 lbs. I’ll leave it up to you to determine where the bigger but harder to catch females are right now…
