Great day for Lake trout fishing. They are chasing balls of bait fish on my mega live. Throwing blade baits into the bait balls and was pulling my blade through the bait and they were coming unglued for it.

The largemouth had really started relating to Champlains flooded bushes and trees and the no jack was the ticket today. In places they had the alewives pushed up into them. Did get a couple on a spinner bait but the alewives were chasing it and fouling the blades a lot. The switch to the swim jig was the deal.
