The largemouth had really started relating to Champlains flooded bushes and trees and the no jack was the ticket today. In places they had the alewives pushed up into them. Did get a couple on a spinner bait but the alewives were chasing it and fouling the blades a lot. The switch to the swim jig was the deal.

The northern end of Champlain is warming up into the 50's but the best bite is still on slowly fished Ned Rigs and tubes.

Falling water temps resulted in most fish being caught in 8-14 feet with light ned Rigs. Some fish can be caught on moving baits if you can find stable water temps.

They couldn't resist the megabass 110 +1 jr today. Tried 4 different colors before they committed to Mat shad.
