Working big worms around brush piles is a great pattern to run all over the lake right now. Just fish as many piles as you can until you run into a good group

There continues to be a solid shallow bite on Conroe even as the fish move out deep, the backwaters still have a quite a few shad left in them from the shad spawn and a frog worked around lay downs and any form of vegetation is producing good bites in the morning and evening

The post spawn deep bite on conroe continues to improve, have been catching several good fish near brush as the fish transition into their summer patterns

Fishing was hot early catching on popper and horny toad, but majority of fish came on the baby brush hog. 2 colors were great, South Africa Special and Watermelon Candy.
