The water clarity on Dora was off! Typically the offshore deal occupies ALL of my time on Dora but I felt like due to the water clarity being off and water stained we went shallow to flip... flip... and flip some more! We were practicing for a tournament so we wound up taking off our hooks pretty quickly but caught 2 3 pounders prior to doing so. COVER WE FISHED: We were looking for really mixed up grass. What I mean is not the straight kissimmee grass and not the straight reeds. It was a mixture of reeds, kissimmee grass, arrowheads and cattails. When you got in the right combination of grass it was ON!!! Thanks for checking this out, hopefully one of these tips can help you on your next outing!
