      The fish were up shallow but not many docks were in yet. We found fish in the weeds in about 8' of water.

      We found fish in shallow water at sunset. They were hiding in the weeds just off the fishing pier and drew them out with noisy top water lures.

      First cast with the Sleeper Gill produced a nice largemouth in the late morning. Targeted docks where the bass are hanging out in the shade and got a nice hookup that held during the brief fight.
