The fish were holding on water willow around docks early in the morning during low light. They moved further out as the sun came out.

We fished docks on shallow flats with deep water close by. A few fish were caught on shallow running crankbaits but the better fish wanted the Jackhammer in black/blue or firecraw. 👊🏽

Fish were random, but most up around 2 to 4 ft in brush piles, or ends of laydowns. Caught 4 bass, but all less than 13.5 inches.

Brush piles in 15-20’. Work the jerkbait fairly fast over the tops…jerk, jerk pause.
