Flipping reed edges with a 1/2 oz flipping jig in black and blue with a D Bomb trailer produced a beautiful 22.25 inch fish in the early morning. Keep an ear out for bass busting on fish in the reeds, if you don't hear it they are not there, keep looking around until you hear them. When the reed fish bit died off, running a burner worm in black/blue glitter around isolate patches of pads intermixed with arrow reeds and Kissimmee grass was producing good numbers. Run the worm through the pads and kill it on the edges, bass would sometimes wait until the worm reached the edge before attacking, some would be in ambush clearings in the pads, others would be around the clumps of grasses in the pads.

Water down to hurricane level you must be very careful. Early and evening is best. Take plenty of water to drink. The fishing is tough right now. Water will stay this level until November

Fished a Florida BASS Nation Kayak Series event. Caught most of my fish on wacky junebug 6” Senko under docks. Did catch 2 around grass and lily pads. Had to switch to a weightless Texas rig as I broke off all of my wacky hooks. Wind picked up and was harder to skip with the waves.
