TechniqueSwim JigsSeasonSummerStructureMatted GrassLake Josephine has minimal structure and minimal cover. The lake is relatively shallow with the exception of a few deep holes in the S/SE corner. With the lake mostly consisting of sand, you need to cover a lot of water to find fish. I have found the slightest changes in depth/bottom composition will hold fish. Find coontail and lilypads and fish with jigs. This lake holds some big bass - you just need to work for them.
