First outing of the year. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary doing what we love, together. We hit the water around 4 pm. So we only had about an hour and 45 minutes before dark. Kurth lake is loaded with gators and has rules that prevent you from fishing after dark. It was our first time to Kurth lake so we weren’t expecting much, just to see what it was like. Lucky for my wife. Her first cast landed her a 2lb largemouth bass. Unfortunately for the rest of the time we got nothing, the batteries in my I pilot remote were dead and I was trying to navigate through my phones Bluetooth. So after that hour and fourth five minutes we were ready to leave.
