Light winds with a water temp in the high 40's had fish starting to push up into 8-12 foot of water. They wouldn't fully commit to a swimbait but had no issues connecting with a jerk bait. They key was getting the jerk bait to touch and rip out of the tops of the grass that the fish were relating to.

Really Windy day in early May two days after a cold front. Water temps were touching 47 degrees on the windblown side of the lake. Focusing on shallow pockets that were trapping warm water and holding heat from the sun had fish scattered in them. Had to cover a lot of these areas but got on a good bite of mainly all 3+ lb fish that were taking advantage of the wind/warmth being held up in the shallows.
