Fishing the edges of pads, the bass were busting shad all around me but would NOT hit a regular Jackhammer, so I switched to a Stealthblade Jackhammer and BOOM! Seemed they didn't want the heavier vibration or flash. Thinking about it, it may be a bit smaller profile swimbait like the 6th sense 3.1in divine swimbaits on the back of the stealth blade would perfectly match the hatch of those spawn shad. Will test out and report as the temps cool and the bass move into the creeks.
