Cast and retrieve very slowly along the old bridge starlings throughout the lake, letting the bait bounce off of the bottom. The Gobius is very tough to hang-up. This technique also produced a few largemouth.

Cover ground until you find a fish. Most fish were caught in 5-7' of water off the bank. You may even catch the occasional smally or trout. Most fish were caught in the lower part of the impoundment were there is deeper water. Be careful the lake is still full of sediment from the Dam removal at Willow River state park. So navigation can be tricky.
