Tried moving baits early and got 1 but had to slow down and fish a shakey head around wood. Caught a handful including 1 really good one off a stick up in 5ft. Bite stayed slow for me and a few other anglers I talked to even though temps are nearing 60. It’s got to be close to firing off!

Really had to slow down today. Was able to locate some brush piles then got some to bite the jerkbait. Followed up with a trick worm before I moved on. Overall was decent morning just had to cover water.

Looked for brush in 8-10’ near rocky banks. Used a wackey rig to pick them apart. Weightless or with core tackle wackey shot to get deeper and fish faster.
