      wacky rigged yamamoto 5 inch landed over 30! Large and Small mouth bass along with some black crappie were on this bite all day long. tossed the wacky rig to the rock walls and let it fall they would hit!

      Fishing in Las Vegas Wash, find the bushes that are the furthest out in the backs of coves or pockets and cast all around them with a spinnerbait or crankbait

      Fishing is slowing down in the afternoons so you want to hit the bays early in the A.M. and move out to deeper water as the sun rises. They are smashing small white surface lures in the mornings and chomping dropshots off ledges and any shade pockets during the day. Slow down, take extra water and tight lines!

      Flat long points with boulders/rocks were key. Ensure crank bait contact with bottom/rocks continually.

      Had constant success running 3.5inch to 4.5inch soft body swim baits on jigheads about 5-15ft. Allowing the bait to settle after short bursts of burning incited most bite however some hit it on the fall after initial cast.

      Launched at callville bay and fished most of the rocky coves just outside the marina, there i found some pockets inside coves where fish would ambush my jig if positioned correctly. lighting and presentation was key, when they bit, they were quality fish but the bite was slow. 5 fish all day, each around 16inches.
