Fished 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m, air temp 63F, wind southeast 4 mph, fished off of Cedar Street Landing, downtown Minocqua. Surprising all weed growth along this shoreline was dead. Managed to catch one small northern and a largemouth bass on a chartreuse spinnerbait. Fish were over patches of sand grass. Fish were in 6-8 feet of water. I tried fishing out to 30 ft depths, with a variety of baits, marked very few fish or bait fish. I was fishing out of a kayak and decided to move to a different lake.

Smallmouth are starting to move shallower as we are getting into fall, and I was able to catch some fan casting small swimbaits over points.

5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. foggy 65F, no wind, fish were 2-8 ft of water, outside of pads, roaming weed flats, both wacky style and rigged texas with no weight, bite was fast and furios, only 12-14 inch fish, feeding aggressively
