Made it out for the WI opening weekend. Chose a smaller, shallower, darker body of water since the ice had just gone off many Northwoods lakes within the previous few days. Water temps ranged from upper 30's to low 40's so we found most walleyes to be roaming around 10 ft of water around points bear the river channel. In the evening or early morning some fish were a little shallower. Making long casts with the Moontail and slowly reeling it back near bottom was the most consistent producer most of the day and caught the largest fish.
