I was fishing the Monona bay today and had some success on a megabass 110 perch pattern jerkbait. Make sure you make a long cast, jerk it and pause. They have been smashing it on the pause for me. Goodluck and tight lines!

      Bluegill

Got fish this weekend April 23/24. Both came off a Strike King Jerkbait in the Strobe Shad color. Chartruese Belly, Ghost Middle, Purple Back. The water I was fishing was 50-52 degrees. The fish seemed to be deeper on weedlines. The area I was in the fish ignored slower presentations like Senkos, dropshots, and finesse jigs. The key is to find the warmer water currently, look for mid 50's to low 60's. Had a few Northern strike at crankbaits, all in brown craw or brown bluegill patterns.
