Fish have moved into post spawn conditions. I caught all my bass in 7-10 foot of water on standing brush/stumps/timber on mostly secondary points. The Keitech Easy Shiner was the bait that did it for me, slow presentation. I caught about 10 bass in 2.5 hours with this presentation.

Had a very productive day on Lake Mooney. Bass were biting on Top Water early, crushed them on a Rebel Pop R on main lake points. The rest of the bites came off either a Keitech Easy Shiner or the Jackall Flick Shake in 6-10 of water around any type of cover. Overall 15 bass caught biggest was close to 4lbs.

The lake is heating up, and the bass have moved up to start the spawn. As usual they were not hitting moving baits they would only hit a whacky style plastic. The zoom trick worm was the key, fishing it in 4 to 5 foot of water in the coves.

Productive day of fishing on Mooney, the bass were hanging in 6-9 foot range on brush piles or stumps. Dropping the Keitech Easy shiner into the brush and letting float down slowly was a killer. Caught about 20 bass on that technique in the 1-3 pound range.

Tournament with the High Voltage Bass Club! Had a decent day on the lake on this tournament. Top Water was on fire first thing in the morning landed one close to 5lbs and a few others. As soon as the sun got high in the sky I moved to underwater stumps and sticks on points down around 8-10 feet with the Zoom trick worm, the bite was slow but got my limit. Ended up in 6th place for the tournament.

Great on the lake! Put over 20 bass in the 2-4lb range in 3 hours. The bass are on the beds in 4-6feet of water. Concentrate on the lake flats not steep banks. Flipped the Jackall worm wacky style on the beds letting it fall in the bed and as it hits the bottom I give it a small action jerk, and the bass were slamming it.

Fish were moving up on the beds to spawn today. They are spawning in 5-7 feet of water very few are shallower. The water is ultra clear you can see the fish on beds easily in 7 feet of water or pick out the beds from a good distance. We were whacky rigging Jackal Flick Shake and letting it drop down around the beds and they hammered it. Usually one small pump of the rod would generate a reaction strike from the bass. Caught over 40 bass between 2 and 5 pounds.
