The bass were hitting a spinnerbait about 10-20 yds outside the weedbed. I was ripping a spinnerbait through the submerged weeds and caught 2 largemouth bass, one being over 5 pounds. I was also throwing a popper and caught 2 bass outside of the weedbed in open water.

September 13th My buddy Matt and I headed out to try to catch some more largemouth bass. We were on the southern end of the lake. I was able to catch a few on the edge of the lily pads. I was throwing a weightless swimbait as well as punching the edge of the pads with a tokyo rig.
