Got most of my bites near submerged stumps. Most of the fish were in that 6-10 foot range. Did see a few fish that may have been up on beds in that shallower zone.

April 14th my buddy Kyle and I took our fishing kayaks here. The video is on my youtube channel Jake_stem_fishing. We had just had 3 days of 80 degree weather and the water temp at launch in the morning was 58 degrees and getting up to 62 at the end of the day. I thought they may be pushed up on the spawning flats but they did not seem to be. I lost a 4+ pounder next to the kayak with the queen tackle tungsten chatter bait. My buddy Kyle caught 3 and lost 1. Throwing a sqaurebill, chatter bait and a spinnerbait. They are close to moving up but not at the point we were fishing.
