Fishing Weed infested flats with a plethora of bait and forage was the ticket for areas holding fish in all three phases of the spawn in February. Pitching stick baits to unseen bedding and staging bass on reed stems and casting around a swimming worm yielded bites in a variety of areas around the lake. Bladed jigs also produced good fish as well.
