In around 20 feet of water off of a steep drop off. Locate weeds and small perch, with using electronics. The walleye are being caught bye jigging the VMC rattle spoon with a minnow head, or a dead stick with a whole minnow. The bite was the best in the mornings and evenings.

Mid Winter Ice Crappies, Look for structure close to a basin area and use your electronics to locate a school of active fish. Use a minnow head or a waxie and drop down to them. If they are finicky drop down to them and jig your spoon as you pull up, play keep away. Tip the minnow on the spoon on the back side in the middle, if you need to take the hook off and turn it around so it is. The bigger Crappies are normally tords the bottom of the school.
