I was catching a lot of crappies in 35 feet of water. I was fortunate enough for this GIANT 28 inch walleye to bite. It was an absolute blast spending the weekend up in Osakis. I 10/10 recommend!

Mid Winter Ice Crappies, Look for structure close to a basin area and use your electronics to locate a school of active fish. Use a minnow head or a waxie and drop down to them. If they are finicky drop down to them and jig your spoon as you pull up, play keep away. Tip the minnow on the spoon on the back side in the middle, if you need to take the hook off and turn it around so it is. The bigger Crappies are normally tords the bottom of the school.
