I targeted wind blown areas with submerged grass. I was throwing a chatterbait with my 13 fishing Fate V3 Chatter-crank rod using 17lb Tactical P Line Flurocarbon.

Fishing a wacky rig shallow around isolated patches of emergent vegetation was the key pattern of the day. The post spawn males and females were staging around them in 1-3 fow and the finesse of a wacky rig could not be beat. The purple with emerald flake senko color was key to providing contrast to the water color while still being natural in the green stained water.
