Spent the morning burning that chatterbait over the tops of grass, mostly eelgrass, 4-6 foot deep is where it tends to stop growing. This creates a nice edge and natural drop off on the inside or outside weedline, reel just fast enough to feel the jig hitting the top of the grass!

Needed to slow down and downsize the profile to get bites today, bass weren’t reacting to chatterbaits, jigs, Texas rigs, topwater, nothing… very subtle wobble of the tail on the Zman Turbo FattyZ coming through the grass was perfect and got the bass going!
