TechniqueHard JerkbaitsSeasonFallStructureBouldersIt’s a little early but temps dropped to 48 degrees over night and the only way to get bit was super long pauses with the jerkbaits! So early morning or when the bite is slow don’t be afraid to grab something slow with pauses like a jerkbait in the late fall!

TechniqueBladed JigsSeasonFallStructureSubmerged VegetationThat time of year! Find bait and find the fish, chatter was my primary search bait (or walking topwater) going down the bank looking for active fish. Lots of dead water this time of year so make sure you keep moving, then slow down after you’ve located a school of fish!

TechniqueFootball JigsSeasonFallStructureBouldersHad a lot of success of moving baits, after that bite slowed I went back through the same area’s with a this finesse football jig, dragging on the bottom, was too easy of a meal for the fish to pass up!

TechniqueSwim JigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationFished the MN Bass Nation HS State Tournament. Monster player was the White OutKast Heavy Cover Pro swim jig off the bank in about 3-4 ft in a flat of sparse weeds! Water was very dirty so bright white was a must. Beat an area for our 10 key bites clinching a nice top 10! Solid way to end the 2024 season

TechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationThe slobberknocker by Berkley is as good as advertised! Comes through grass really well and has a unique vibration compared to other blades jigs, tough to take down the champ but the fact it is so much more weedless will make me purchase a few more!
