What You Need to Know About Fishing Lake Robinson

Originally created as an impoundment for drinking water from the South Tyger River, Lake Robinson is an 800-acre pristine lake in South Carolina, not far from Greer. Boats can be launched from the J. Verne Smith Park on the southeast side of the lake. There are also multiple pier fishing opportunities available from the park. Lake Robinson is relatively clear for most of the year and presents sport fishing opportunities for bream (panfish), largemouth bass and catfish.
