Heavy winds, 15+ mph, made for less than ideal conditions. Focused on areas with submerged vegetation in 6 to 10 ft of water, while swimming a jig over the tops of the grass. Quality fish were along the edges of the grass, which is typical when bass are ambushing prey. Strikes were extremely aggressive. The TIP is to tick the tops of the vegetation, and pay very close attention when approaching edges, holes, and other changes in the structure/grass.
