In my opinion this is one of the prettiest lakes in Ga. Right now the bass are very active in early mornings and late evenings making the top water bite phenomenal!

Fish the magdraft around shad baitballs and try to match the size and color of the bait to the actual shad as closely as possible. Fish it below the baitball the biggest bass will sit under the baitball. So they can eat all the dead or wounded shad that fall to the bottom. The smarter bigger bass do not want to waste energy and calories so they will just wait for dead/wonded bait to come to them. The bass really do understand how to work smarter not harder!
