Portions of the lake in the creeks and mouths of creeks are still muddy from runoff, but I targeted the dying/dead grass edges for bites. I didn't run across any giants, but I did consistently get bit using the chatterbait. I think that bite my be dying off, but the fish should be in their winter holes very soon.

Water temp below the Wallace dam was 55 consistently. As soon as they started generating current, I was catching decent striper almost every other cast. I was running only 1/8 oz jig heads to keep the bait high in the water column and out of the rocks. Once the power generation stopped, I had to slow the bait down to get it just barely ticking the tops of rocks to get a bite.
