Drop shot fish were caught in 14-16 feet. Didn't need to soak it much, they would eat on the fall or while it was sitting there while twitching the rod tip. The thickest clumps of coontail produced the biggest bites

Had a fun day on Waconia catching multiple species. We caught a few good bass, some northerns and even got a muskie to the boat by focusing on isolated weed clumps on reef points.
