Another great morning walking the waterfront. Was fishing gravel beaches, Boulders, under apartments, submerged grass. Getting no bites on top water or cranks, I switched to the trusty 5”senko. Got hit second cast. And then stuck with it, all the walk back. 6 fish total. Nothing big, all 15-17 inches. Wishing I had brought my UL set up. Mixed bag, 4 Smallies 2 large. I’m using a Lamiglas XP 703 S, and a Phlueger President. I’ve tagged a rod and reel I feel are comparable.

I caught 7 smallmouth bass this morning on one lure. The Berkley money badger. Fish were located on the outside of weed lines and near points. In depth of water 20-35 feet.
