We were sitting on 15 ft of water several yards back from a ledge drop off. The perch seemed to be congregating on the high side of the reef. Full minnows on a tungsten jig or spoon was the ticket to getting our bites. The spoon was the deal for getting the larger fish to bite.

Minnows
21-26 feet of water was most successful. Large tungsten jigs tipped with rainbows nose hooked and set lines produced the most action. Color seemed to play a big factor with best colors being white or wonderbread.
