Smashing postspawn smallmouth up shallow. Lots of them and a couple with decent size. That rod below is an absolute killer hair jig rod. So if you want to throw hair jigs make sure you have it. Other than that the feider fly is amazing and I always tip it with a tiny chunk of maxscent

One of my favorite ways to catch walleyes is snapping a hair jig. These moontail jigs are fantastic for it, and then I pair it up with a flatnose minnow to give it a more minnow look and some scent. You just whip it out there and let it sink to the bottom. And kind of lightly snap it back to the boat. Work it very similar to a metal snap jig(jigging rap) but not quite as aggressive.
