With continued unsettled weather patterns and winds blowing 10 to 15… This bait was about the best, netting a handful of smallmouth. though I wasn’t targeting brown fish, they were the most active.

Using this bait combination on top of submerged vegetation the bass can’t stand it. It has to be breezy to slightly windy and it’s game on! Just slowly retrieve and agitate the tops of the vegetation and hold on for that reaction strike! Good luck! This lake easily has a 3+ lb average size.

Caught me a dozen fat LMB’s (all over 3lbs) on a storm largo shad 4” rigged on a 3/8 oz divine underspin by 6th sense. This bait has been killing it on this lake for me since mid June when I booked and nearly landed a 7+ pounder. That fish went under my tracker where I’m sure there’s burrs in the aluminum and when I used a hand to control the last couple inches of line and reaching for the mouth with my other hand, the line snapped! Anyway. Water on Monday the 6th of Sep. was 70-71.5 and the air was about the same. All my fish were in submerged veggies in 5-15’ of water. Amazing day.
