Was catching smallies on drop shots in about 8-12’ of water. With water so clear had to make long casts and just dead stick the bait, the less you did the better. You wouldn’t feel a bite it would just get heavy. Matte black flat cat was the juice. The picture posted shows the one time it got really heavy with an accidental Muskie.
