Early after ice out, the white bass roam the basin in wolf packs feeding on suspended minnows. They move amazingly fast for 45-50 degree water. Best if you can locate the moving schools with Livescope, then toss Jerkbaits with 3-4 jerks with a few pauses added in. The Stunna in Shad Fillet seems to be the ticket for the larger fish.

Fished off shore structure such as sunken points and islands. Tons of fish caught on drop shot using Googan Baits Drag n Drop. Also caught tons of bass on Yum Dinger 4". If you are looking to catch a pile of bass (albeit small size) head to Prior and drop shot or wacky rig. Be ready to catch a pile of eater size sunfish. Bedding sunfish are hitting any bait you put near them.
