Fish are on beds and some still cruising shallow. While bedding fish can be tough to catch site fishing sure can be fun! Try rotating a large swimbait in to your bed fishing gear this time around and you might get a few more bites from those big females. Controlling the bait entry is key, so stick with a heavier set up to easily flip the big bait.

Lily Pads
Went out for the early morning bite at around 6-6:30. Started off with a Texas rig with a 1/8 oz worm weight, with a 5/0 gamakatsu offset hook. Fishing inside the Lilly pads and slowly dragging out and along the pad edges. Managed to catch 2 doing that with #1 being a dink and #2 weighing at 1.4 lbs
