The strike king rage bug was all the rage this day as every fish caught was caught flipping one in staging areas throughout the day. Despite very many attempts to catch them with other techniques, the bass only seemed to want a Texas rigged rage bug. Can't say enough about my success and confidence with this bait.

The largemouth have begun their move shallow to spawn. After working the spawning areas with reaction baits and not getting many bites, I decided to slow and pitch to visible beds with a strike king rage bug and started to land several fish. Biggest was this 5 pounder who inhaled my bait as soon as it dropped near her. She gave me a nice battle. Love this time of year.
