      Summer fishing is again very slow now that the water temp has gone up. This is a very shallow lake with an abundance of stumps and submerged trees on the west end. Try fishing with a rage swimmer around cooler pockets of water near the spring inlets, especially in the early morning. Move farther off the point on the northcentral shoreline during evenings. You'll need to fish lower here, which can be very difficult with all of the stumps. Or try trolling around the edges of the stumpfields with a floating crankbait.

      What a Great afternoon on the lake… Didn’t need anything more than Strike King Thundercricket on prespawn bass! Finished the day with brother-in-law catching 6 bass over 6 lbs, 11 over 5 lbs and 37 between 2 1/2 and 5 lbs.
