I will start out by saying this lake looks awesome should be fish everywhere, but this lake was terrible there isn’t fish anywhere. At least that’s what it seemed like for me and some friends who fished both days this weekend. I think the amount of pressure this lake gets is crazy for the size, this has relocated probably the majority of keeper largemouth this late in the year to release areas, fishing in areas within a mile of a release area seems to be the top pattern. I caught a limit in one pocket in 10 minutes in grass but then didn’t get bit running the identical patter anywhere else. Down lake held a large amount of spots and some largemouth that were catchable under docks. I will add in I think the heat we had the last week or two through a lot of fish for a loop that were beginning the fall transition. Lots of bait everywhere from main lake to grass flats. Water cools off I could see it getting better, maybe it was a timing thing but that’s my hot take.
