It seems like the smallmouth are really becoming aggressive as they move up. They are wanting twitch presentations like a jerkbait, jig or Senko. Use a Megabass Kanata GP in the pro perch color. Just use a jerk, jerk, pause presentation with pauses only lasting 2 seconds. The fish will hit it on the pause. You’ll be on them in no time!

Both the smallmouth and largemouth are cruising the flats in 4-10’ of water near weed lines. Throw out the Duo Realis in a perch pattern. Just work it slowly in the shallows with a twitch, twitch pause cadence. I landed 14 total in about three hours. This was my biggest one that weighed in just over 5lbs.
