Day 2 of the Tennessee Bass Federation State Championship. Conditions again changed with more wind and cloudy conditions. Started the morning targeting shallow laydowns with the wacky rig Senko. Caught several bass in the 14 to 14 3/4 in range in 0 to 4 feet. Moved to laydowns on rock bluffs and alternated my wacky rig with a 1/8 oz and 1/16 oz wacky jig to adjust the rate of fall. Hooked up to a few nice keepers but unfortunately got rapped up in the wood and broke them off. Mid-morning moved to a shallow flat with isolated laydowns and hydrilla grass clumps. Wind was blowing around 10 to 15 so picked up the swim bait and swam thru and over the grass. Caught 3 14 3/4" fish before I hooked up to a 4 lbs 5 oz LM. Caught several more non keepers but just couldn't find the right size fish.
