Water temp was 78° and we were in pre-frontal conditions. Today I tried the 3/8 oz. Strike King Football head jig with a Gamakatsu hook. Was able to catch 7 lm bass in less than three hours dragging a Zoom finess worm in 5-15 ft on bluff walls.

Lake Normandy is a very peaceful and beautiful lake. My goal today was to catch some Spotted bass. Conditions were ideal: Sunny skies and about 80 degrees with a light wind. Spend all day up the Duck river and caught 8 LM bass and 4 Spotted bass in 10-20 feet on bluff walls.

Lake Normandy top-water bite was on fire for about two hours at 1st light on Labor Day. Had 10+ blow-ups on my Pop-R. The surface water temp had dropper to 78 degrees and this had the fish biting. I think the "Fall Feed" is about to get started.

Water was still at 84° and clear. I worked bluff walls way up in the Duck river. Tried Texas rigged worm, finess jig and a shad swimbait. When I put old-faithful on, a Zoom finess worm, I caught three keepers in about 75 yards.

First light hit shallow water next to points. Got three strikes on one point this morning and landed this 4.2 pound largemouth.
