    Fishing Barnett’s Creek recently, from around 8:30am-2:30pm. I caught about 15 fish altogether with the majority consisting mostly of large mouth bass. In addition to the bass, I did catch a few few small yellow perch and a blue gill. The prize catch of the day was a puppy drum. I threw a lot of different baits on this day, but everything I caught was on a beetle spin rigged with a split tail black & chartreuse crappie magnet on a 1/32 jig head. I have attached pictures of the biggest fish.

    I had to go catch a birthday bass to keep tradition alive! We ended up catching over 30 bass throwing a wacky rigged senko with a #1 VMC wacky worm hook.
