Fishing out of Barnett’s Creek on a day when the bite was tough. I changed baits often & covered a lot of water. It was not until a put I rigged up a a Mr. Crappie Joker that the fish began to bite. I rigged the plastic on a 1/32 oz. jighead & betts spinner. I had to fish it slow, but the crappie & white perch would hit it hard!

I caught 18 fish altogether with all of them being bass or yellow perch! I had another half dozen or so that got away because I couldn’t get a hook into them. I used only two baits; Googan Squad micro zinger in a sexy shad color and a Dynamic Lures’ Micro Spinner Bait, Orange/Gold in color. They were hitting these two spinners pretty consistently! The two spinners in the comments are the two that were hot baits!!
