Points
Water temps are currently in the upper 60s and the bass are schooling on steeper main lake points with deep water nearby. Points with isolated grass beds and isolated grass beds along steeper banks are holding bigger fish. Work the jerkbait on top of, or parallel to, the deeper grass beds (8-12 fow) with a 6-8 second pause in your cadence to elicit bites. The jerkbait bite will only get better as the water cools and make sure to play around with the length of pause in your cadence to determine what will get the fish to trigger for that particular day.

If the wind is blowing O'Dowd has a lot of natural funnel points. Focus your attention between the islands and points, anywhere the wind is pushing bait. Rip a lipless through the remaining weeds. I like to use a low stretch flurcarbon for this on a 7ft medium heavy rod.
